On 17th June, 2010 Prof. Dr. Walther, Karl Friedrich Hagenmüller Professor of Financial Risk Management at Frankfurt School opened the panel discussion on African Capital Markets. Our distinguished guest speakers were Mr. Jens Schleuniger, fund manager of DWS Invest Africa LC, and Mr. Hanns Martin Hagen, Chief Financial Sector Economist at KfW Development Bank. On June 9th, 2010, we welcomed Dr. Christian Sigrist (KfW Development Bank, Head of Division Financial Sector and Economic Infrastructure Latin America and the Caribbean), and Dr. Dunja Hoffmann (GTZ advisor for Renewable Energies) at Frankfurt School to discuss the role of Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency in Latin America and the Caribbean.
